Event Details

Where is the wedding taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin around 4:00–4:30 PM (final timing coming soon). We kindly ask guests to arrive 30 minutes early to get parked, settled, and ready to celebrate.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be indoors. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour may include access to the Edgewater’s beautiful terrace patio.

What should I expect weather‑wise?

October in Seattle can be cool and crisp. If the skies cooperate, we’ll open the terrace for cocktails — a light jacket may be your best friend. We’re still confirming whether heaters will be available; we’ll update this space once we know more.

Dress Code

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail attire — elegant, polished, and celebration‑ready. Dresses, dressy separates, suits, or jackets with dress pants are all great choices.

Any colors I should avoid?

We trust your excellent taste. Let’s simply say: no need to compete with the bride.

Kids & Plus‑Ones

Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults‑only celebration. We'd love to have you of course, maybe this could be a solution? Seattle Hotel & Travel Babysitting and Nanny Care — Loving Care Collective

Do I have a plus‑one?

If your invitation includes a guest, you’re welcome to bring one. Otherwise, we’re keeping the guest list intimate and plus‑ones are by invitation only.

Food & Drink

What kind of meal will be served?

A plated dinner with appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Entrée selections will be offered when invitations go out.

Will there be vegetarian options?

Yes — a vegetarian entrée will be available.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know about any severe or life‑threatening allergies when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to communicate with the venue, though we can’t personally guarantee full accommodation.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes — we’ll be celebrating with an open bar.

RSVP Information

When is the RSVP deadline?

The official deadline will be included with the formal invitation (expected to mail by the end of July). You can anticipate an early September deadline.

How do I RSVP?

You’ll be able to RSVP via the website and/or by mailed card — final details coming soon.

What if my plans change after I RSVP?

Life happens. If you need to update your response, please let us know as soon as possible.

Travel & Accommodations

Where should I stay?

Please see the Accommodations page for hotel recommendations, including a discount code for a limited number of rooms at the Edgewater.

Is transportation provided?

We are not providing shuttles or parking. Seattle is a compact city with easy access to Uber, Lyft, and taxis. The Edgewater offers on‑site paid parking — please refer to the hotel’s website for details.

Anything else I should know about booking hotels?

If the Seattle Mariners have a strong season (as they did in 2025), MLB playoffs may overlap with our wedding weekend. This can make hotel rooms more limited and more expensive. Booking early is highly recommended.

Gifts

Where are you registered?

Registry details will be available on this website once finalized.

Should I ship gifts to your home?

We’ll share guidance here once our registry is live.

Are you doing a honeymoon fund or no‑gift option?

Still TBD — we’ll update this section soon.

Photography & Social Media

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Yes — feel free to take photos. We’d love to see your best shots afterward.

Can I post photos on social media?

We trust our friends and family to use good judgment. Share away, thoughtfully.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

TBD — we’ll post it here once we’ve landed on one.

Accessibility & Comfort

Is the venue accessible?

For full accessibility details, please refer to the Edgewater Hotel website. The venue does have elevator access.

Anything I should bring?

Consider the October weather and your dancing ambitions when choosing shoes and layers.
